The Estate & Legacy Law Center Hosts Table at The Season of Giving Gala

On Saturday, December 15, 2018, The Estate Planning & Legacy Law Center sponsored a table at the First Annual North County Food Bank Season of Giving Gala. We were so excited to be a part of this inaugural event!

The Food 4 Kids Backpack Program was established in 2006 and provides weekend food packages to chronically hungry elementary school students from low-income households who are at risk of hunger over the weekend when free school meals are unavailable.

Each Friday, bags of food are discreetly tucked into their backpacks to take home. Examples include cereal, fruit bars, milk, juice, soup, spaghetti and chicken salad. Currently, 53 San Diego County elementary schools located in 14 different school districts are currently enrolled in the program, which feeds 2,600 students each week.

We are pleased to announce that through the live auction, we were able to participate in the Food 4 Kids Backpack Program by providing funding for six children for the entire year! If you are interested in donating to this local program, visit their website here.

In attendance below were the following from our office from left to right: Attorney Gerard Arcilla and his girlfriend Justine Torresour, Cedric Hart accompanied by his wife, Attorney Shoshannah Hart and Director of Operations, Melanie Siebert and her husband Brad Siebert.
